Access to the Meeting Venue  (Itsukaichi Campus, Hiroshima Institute of Technology)

  • There is no parking available at the venue, and arriving by car is not possible. Please note that there are no paid parking lots nearby either.
  • Arrival times for the temporary shuttle buses and local buses from Itsukaichi Station may be delayed significantly due to traffic conditions. If you need to arrive on time for a presentation or other reasons, we recommend taking a train from Hiroden Itsukaichi Station to the venue via Rakurakuen Station and walking to the venue. When you choose to walk, please do not forget to bring a parasol to protect yourself from the heat!
  • The temporary shuttle buses have a limited capacity. If you are unable to ride the shuttle bus, please use other means of transportation.

  • We recommend taking a train from JR Hiroshima Station to Itsukaichi Station. You can take the Hiroshima Electric Railway Miyajima Line bound for Hiroden Miyajima-guchi from JR Hiroshima Station to Rakurakuen Station, but it takes approx. 1 h.

Access from Hiroshima Airport to JR Hiroshima Station

Limousine Bus to Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit
Take a bus from platform 2 on the 1st floor of the airport terminal building (approx. 50 min), and get off at the last stop, Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit.

Access from JR Hiroshima Station to JR Itsukaichi Station

Transfer to the JR Sanyo Line (bound for Iwakuni) train and get off at JR Itsukaichi Station (approx. 15 min).

 Train and Walking
From Itsukaichi Station on the Hiroshima Electric Railway Miyajima Line, board a train bound for Hiroden Miyajima-guchi Station, get off at Rakurakuen Station and walk 15 min.

Note: The temporary shuttle buses have a different route from the regular buses and do not stop at Rakurakuen.

 Regular Bus (Hiroshima Electric Railway Bus)
From Itsukaichi Station South Exit, take a bus bound for Higashi-Kannon-dai Danchi or Yuki Onsen, via Rakurakuen (Routes 3-5, 4-1, or 4-2). Get off at Hiroshima Koudai Iriguchi (Hiroshima Institute of Technology Entrance). It is about a 10-min walk from the bus stop.

During the conference period, temporary shuttle buses will run between Itsukaichi Station South Exit and Nexus21 (drop-off point).

 Taxi
Taxis are available at both the South and North exits of Itsukaichi Station. However, the North Exit is more convenient for accessing the venue. The journey takes approx. 10 min and costs around 1,000 yen.

Access to the Banquet Venue (Hotel Granvia Hiroshima)

Directly connected to the North Exit of JR Hiroshima Station; a 3-min walk from the North Exit.

The new “Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate” has recently opened (at the South Exit of Hiroshima Station).
Please note that the banquet venue is in “Hotel Granvia Hiroshima” at the North Exit.

There will be no shuttle bus from Hiroshima Institute of Technology directly to the banquet venue.
Instead, additional buses to JR Itsukaichi Station will be available. Please allow extra time for the journey.
