The 2009 impact factor of the Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering (JBB) was released by Thomson Reuters ISI on June 18, 2010. We are very pleased to announce that the journal’s new impact factor has been calculated to 1.749, which increased by 0.047 points from the rate of 1.702 in 2008.

JBB is steadily gaining more attention as a leading journal in the field of biotechnology and applied microbiology. The journal’s five-year impact factor is 2.174.
