Page Charge Free for submissions from countries other than Japan

Starting with papers published in vol. 110, no. 1 (July 2010) of the Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering (JBB), SBJ does not require page charges of articles which meet the following conditions:

  •  1) the research was conducted outside Japan

 AND

  •  2) the corresponding author does not work for any governmental/non-governmental organization, private company or academic institution in Japan

Please note that authors are required to bear the cost for color in print and language correction (if applicable).
