2016 SBJ Awards – Winners Announced
We are pleased to announce the winners of the Young Asian Biotechnologist Prize and DaSliva award for 2016. The prizes honor young scientists who have made an outstanding contribution in the field of biotechnology or shows promise of outstanding achievements in the field of microbial biotechnology. Award ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 during the 68th SBJ Annual Meeting.
The Young Asian Biotechnologist Prize is awarded to Dr. Choowong Auesukaree of Mahidol University and the DaSilva Award is awarded to Dr. Uschara Thumarat of Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
Excellent Paper Award of SBJ is awarded to the authors of the seven papers published in the Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering (JBB) . Those papers were selected from all articles published in the volumes of 119 and 120 of JBB, based on its outstanding quality in both presentation and scientific contribution and for its impact on the field of biotechnology.
