JBB: 2014 Impact Factor 1.884
We are pleased to announce that the 2014 impact factor of the Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering (JBB) reached a record high score of 1.884, which increased in two consecutive years. The journal's 5-year impact factor is 2.032, which also increased from the rate 1.979 in 2013.
Significant efforts have been made by former Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Masahiro Takagi with the support of dedicated editors and reviewers. JBB is continuously gaining attention and strengthening its position as a leading journal in the field of biotechnology and applied microbiology.
Prof. Junichi Kato took over the role as Editor-in-Chief on June 1, 2015, and has been working energetically to further improve the journal. We appreciate all the support from editors, reviewers and authors.
