The Society of Biotechnology, Japan (SBJ) invites nominations for the Young Asian Biotechnologist Prize and the DaSilva Award for 2016, which will be presented at the award ceremony during the Society's 68th Meeting to be held at the Toyama International Conference Center from September 28 to 30, 2016.
The deadline for nomination is March 11 (Fri), 2016.

The Young Asian Biotechnologist Prize recognizes outstanding accomplishments in the field of biotechnology by young scientists in Asia other than Japan.

The DaSilva Award was launched as part of the Society's 90th anniversary project in 2012 to honor a young Asian researcher who shows promise of outstanding achievements in the field of microbial biotechnology.
