How to read a presentation numberThe first numeric character indicates the presentation date and the alphabet after the hyphen denotes the place of your oral presentation.

# G, H, I, and J are for the Special oral session A (Poster Flash Talk).
# E and F are for the Special oral session B.
(The letter “N” indicates there will be no oral presentation.)

 

Special oral session A (Poser Flash Talk)

Poster presenters, except for those who are scheduled for a talk in the special oral session B, give a short introduction of their research in the morning on their presentation day.

  • Date: Sept. 12, 13 and 14   9:00–11:00
  • Place: Rooms G, H, I and J (Bldgs. No. 52), Nishiwaseda Campus, Waseda University
  • Length of the presentation: 2 minutes for the talk and 30 seconds for set-up

  • Format: Oral presentation using a document camera
    Please prepare a document in A4 size (landscape orientation) and bring the printed copy to the site.

NOTE:
Speakers should come to the room 30 minutes before their session starts.
The presentation must be completed within 2 minutes.

Special oral session B

Those whose abstracts are selected as “Hot Topics” or winners of the 2017 Excellent Student Award give an oral presentation in the special oral session B.

  • Date: September 12, 13, and 14, 2017 9:00–11:00
  • Place: Rooms E and F (Bldg. No. 52 1F), Nishiwaseda Campus, Waseda University
  • Presentation time: 15-mintue talk and 5-minute discussion

NOTE:
Speakers should come to the room 30 minutes before their session starts.
Please bring your own computer to the site. MAC users should bring a display adapter if necessary.
On-site PC check is available between 8:30 and 9:00 each morning.

Poster Presentation

Poster presenters given an odd number should be at their poster from 13:00 to 14:00 and those with an even number from 14:00 to 15:00.

  • Place: Poster Presentation Hall (Bldg. No. 63, 2F; Nishiwaseda Campus, Waseda University)
  • Display Hours:
    September 12 and 13   9:00–18:00
    September 14   9:00–15:00

NOTE:
Avoid red-green combination on your poster––members of your audience may be red/green colorblind.
The size of the POSTER BOARD is 900 mm wide and 2100 mm high (from top to the floor).
We recommend a poster size of A0 (841 x 1189 mm) .
Posters should be removed immediately after the end of display hours each day.
