JBB: How to activate Member Access
SBJ individual members can access the full text of the Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Journal of Fermentation and Bioengineering, and Journal of Fermentation Technology (back to Vol. 64 , 1986) on ScienceDirect.
To activate your access to the journal, you will need your membership number in 6 digits. If you have forgotten your membership number, please contact the Society Business Office ().
1. Go to: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/activate/jbiosc
2. Enter your email address.
If you have an Elsevier account, you will be directed to the Sign in screen.
If no account is found in the database, you will be asked to register.

<For members with an Elsevier account>
If you already have an account for Elsevier online products such as ScienceDirect or Scopus, you can sign in using your existing email address (ID) and password to view full-text PDF articles.
<For memebers without an Elsevier account>
If you do not have an account for ScienceDirect, create your password and click “Register”.
Click "Continue" to access the journal site.
4. Click "Sign in" at the top right of the page（https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/13891723). If you have an access through multiple organizations, you can choose an account.
＜For those with access to ScienceDirect through their organization＞
Access to the account obtained through your organization will be displayed. If you wish to use member access, please select “Cancel”.
Enter the email address registered for the member access.
If you encounter any problems in accessing the journals, please click the signed name and try a different account. If you forgot the password for the Society Member Access, you can reset your password.
You can access to the articles published in the Journal of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Journal of Fermentation and Bioengineering, and Journal of Fermentation Technology (back to Vol. 64 , 1986) on ScienceDirect.com.
